Luxe Mirrors’ Australia Featured Trade Projects Update – Recent Home Renovations

The privilege to work with some of the most inspiring interior designers, decorators, developers and trades in Australia is one that we don’t take for granted. Over the past seven years, we’ve had the honour of helping clients put the finishing touches on homes and commercial spaces with premium quality mirrors from our collection of luxury products. The joy and satisfaction of seeing a piece from Luxe Mirrors Australia collection perfectly fitted to tie a room together are indescribable, and we have the amazing trade clients and interior designers we work with to thank for that!

House Renovation at Narre Warren, Victoria by Pretty On The Inside

When Adam and Jackie – husband and wife duo and the creative masterminds behind Pretty On The Inside – approached us in search of the perfect mirror to complement this beautiful, mid-century modern bathroom interior, we knew right away that the Gatsby Pill Shaped LED Mirror would fit the bill! As you can see, the soft pink herringbone feature wall steals the show in this eclectic bathroom design and we wanted to keep it that way by adding an elegant, frameless LED bathroom mirror to the picture-perfect space. While the textured accent wall definitely allows the mirror to stand out, it does not overshadow or clash with the backdrop; therefore, it’s a match made in heaven!

Finished with a white attica counter atop a seamlessly designed walnut vanity, the light-shaded colour scheme which includes natural white stone shower tiles, allows the timber cabinetry and brass fittings to stand out, adding just the right pops of colour to the bathroom. Another notable feature is the shower niche that breaks the monotony of white wall tiles with the same pink herringbone design to match the feature wall. The finishing touches include dark accents in the form of a toothbrush holder, hand soap dispenser, and vase with beautiful flower arrangement.

Luxe Mirrors Featured Product : The Gatsby Pill Shaped LED Mirror measures 90cm x 45cm, and adds a modern touch to the space with its minimalist design, anti-fog functioning, and touch technology to switch the light on/off.

Extensive House Renovation at Ascot, Queensland by Studio LMD

At the risk of sounding biased, the Kennedy Residence project is one of the most gorgeous end products we have ever seen with an extensive home renovation. We played a minuscule role in it by providing the mirrors to finish off the bathroom interiors but the real credit goes to JMC Construction Solutions (Instagram: @jmcconstructionsolutions) and Studio LMD for stripping down the Kennedy Terrace and putting it back together so beautifully.  

The design team was led by none other than the very talented visionary that is Leila Macaione – Interior Designer and founder of the boutique interior design firm Studio LMD. Keeping with the tone of the interior design which exudes contemporary coastal vibes, and the warmth of wood panelling and brickwork coupled with playful pops of colour, Leila chose a bold, tropical wallpaper for the feature wall of the powder room that called for a sleek minimal vanity mirror – enter Luxe Milan Black Bathroom Mirror!

This is one of the more popular pieces in our collection of round and oval bathroom mirrors. Owing to its versatility and open interpretation of style, the mirror can be easily matched with different types of bathroom designs and interior décor. The Kennedy Residence is proof of that with a pair of our Luxe Milan Black Metal Frame Bathroom Mirrors used in the master ensuite which is predominantly designed in an all-neutral colour palette. Here, the pieces serve as striking features against their stark surroundings while the single mirror in the powder room blends in and allows the daring wallpaper to shine. 

Luxe Mirrors Featured Product: Milan Bathroom MIrror is Available in two different sizes – 60cm and 90cm diameter – the simple nature of the mirror is characterised by a matt black, slightly protruding round metal powder coated frame, and boasts copper-free premium quality glass which is moisture-resistant and, therefore, will not corrode overtime.

Newly Built House at Surrey Hills, Melbourne by Matclair Constructions

It took approximately 10 months for the incredible team at Matclair Constructions to build this Surrey Hills residence from the ground up. It’s no surprise that the project was finished to perfection thanks to the core team’s extensive years of experience in construction and carpentry. Established in 1991, the family-owned and operated construction business hit the nail on the head with the completion of this gorgeous, two-storey luxury home that is all about detailed craftsmanship, warm wooden floors, and neutral colour tones that radiate through the interiors.

Pictured above are Luxe Mirrors’ twin Sphere Round LED Mirrors fitted against double-herringbone wall tiles that are further highlighted by the aura of light coming from the backlit bathroom mirrors. The all-light colour palette epitomises elegance which is only enhanced by the white shaker-style vanity and stainless steel faucets. We love how well the frameless LED backlit mirrors complement the textured feature wall to complete an all-round neutral colour scheme that exudes peace and tranquillity.  

Luxe Mirrors Featured Product:  The Sphere Round LED Mirror comes in two sizes – 60cm and 80cm. It is fitted with LED lights on the back, and also serves as a frontlit bathroom mirror owing to the frosted glass edge. Demister pads are optional with this piece.

Home Conversion at Marjorie St, Preston, Victoria by Matclair Constructions

Formerly a classic clinker house, the goal with the Preston Project was to convert it into an open plan contemporary home while incorporating roots of its original design. That is exactly what Matclair Constructions pulled off by mixing and matching styles and cleverly using original bricks from the house with dominant inclusion of contemporary features to complete the home exteriors.

The interiors of the clinker home underwent an extensive renovation before the finishing touches were added by the fabulous design team from Mannerheim Architects (instagram: @mannerheimarchitects) based in Doncaster East, Victoria. This is where yours truly comes in too! With a wide range of modern and contemporary pieces to choose from at Luxe Mirrors’ online retail store, the clear winner was definitely our Rear Soft Glow LED Backlit Round Bathroom Mirror that is available in both warm and cool lights.

Much like the rest of the interior design, the ensuite features a monochromatic colour scheme that screams contemporary sophistication. The lighted mirror adds a modern touch to the space which complements the light-coloured wall tiles and sleek white vanity. Of course, an ensuite of this nature and style has to incorporate darker accent colours to balance the interior which is why the design team chose a matte black sink, black trim for the shower door and window, and grey shower tiles to complete this very polished bathroom space.

Luxe Mirrors Featured Product: The Rear Soft Glow LED Backlit Round Bathroom Mirror is a frameless, modern-style piece that is available in medium (60cm) and large (90cm) sizes. It must be hard-wired to a switch or controlled via motion sensor or programmable timer.
